About Plaza Retail REIT · People & Culture
Women@Plaza
A workplace initiative dedicated to supporting and empowering women and women-identifying people at Plaza — to connect, grow, and lead. Now celebrating five years of impact.
Women@Plaza is a pillar of Plaza's broader ESG strategy
Plaza’s 2025 ESG Report covers Women@Plaza in full alongside our environmental performance, governance practices, and community engagement activities.
Where there is purpose, there is growth
Women@Plaza is shaped by the people who lead with respect, lean on each other through teamwork, deliver with execution, and draw strength from having overcome adversity. These aren’t aspirational values. They’re already here. Women@Plaza exists to make that visible, and to build on it.
Celebrating five years · 2021–2026
About the Initiative
Through programming, events, and community, Women@Plaza gives colleagues the opportunities to connect, support one another, and contribute to causes aligned with their values — from professional development workshops and mentorship to fundraising events and community partnerships.
W@P is not an HR initiative. It is an employee-led community — shaped by the people who participate in it, and sustained by a genuine commitment to inclusion that runs throughout Plaza’s culture.
We Aim To
Raise Awareness
Surface and address the issues women face in the workplace — bringing them into the open so they can be understood, discussed, and acted on.
Support Professional Development
Provide tools, programming, and relationships that help women at Plaza grow in their careers and access opportunities they might not otherwise encounter.
Recognize & Celebrate
Acknowledge the efforts, contributions, and distinct experiences of women in the workplace — because recognition is part of culture, and culture is how organizations change.
“Women@Plaza is dedicated to supporting and empowering women and women-identifying people in our organization to reach their full potential in the workplace.”
